- Upload images
- Places a logo in the center of the code. PNG, JPG and SVG work. You can upload several and tap each one to see how it looks. The − button on a logo removes just that one.
- Logo background
- Puts the logo on a colored background so it stands out. With a sample or searched icon the background follows the icon’s shape (square, rounded, circle or hexagon); other logos get a rounded square.
- Logo stroke
- Draws an outline around the logo. Choose its color and thickness. A white stroke gives a clean separation from the dots.
- Size
- How much of the code the logo covers. Bigger logos look bolder but are harder to scan. Staying at 25% or less is safest.
- Clear modules behind logo
- Removes the dots under the logo so it sits on a clean space. Leave this on unless your logo has its own solid background.
- Error correction tip
- A logo hides part of the code, so raise error correction to Q or H (Encoding tab). The “Switch to High” button does this for you. Always test with your phone after adding a logo.
- Remove all logos
- Deletes every uploaded logo and restores the normal code.
- Sample logos
- Tap a sample brand icon to try a logo before uploading your own. Tap it again, or tap the crossed-out circle (No logo), to remove it.
- Brand icon search
- Type a brand name to find it among 3,400+ icons from Simple Icons. The icon list downloads from this site the first time you search; what you type stays in your browser.
- Icon shape
- Shows the sample and searched icons plain or on a square, rounded square, circle or hexagon in the brand color.
- Custom icon color
- Replaces the brand color of the sample and searched icons with your own color: the shape for square, rounded, circle and hexagon, or the icon itself for Plain.
