What each URL setting does

Social media shortcuts
Tap a platform (Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, Telegram, Signal, Mastodon and more) to fill in its profile link, then replace the highlighted placeholder with your own username. Check the link opens your profile before printing. For Mastodon, change the server name if your account is not on mastodon.social. For Signal, use your phone number with country code.
Website URL
The web address to open. Scanning opens it in the phone’s browser. Start with https:// so it is recognized as a link.
Tip
Shorter links make a simpler code that scans faster. The code cannot be edited later: to change the link, make a new code.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the link later?

No. Static QR codes store the link directly in the pattern. To change it, generate a new code.

How long can the URL be?

Up to about 2,900 characters, but shorter links produce simpler codes that scan faster.

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The codes are static: the content is encoded directly into the image, so they keep working forever and don’t depend on this website.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG in the Logo step. Use error correction Q or H so the code still scans with part of it covered.

Which file format should I download?

Use SVG for print and design tools because it scales to any size. Use PNG for websites and documents, with a transparent background if needed.
